
BAKED PORK CHOPS AND POTATOES
1 pkg thin-cut pork chops
4-5 potatoes, sliced thin
chopped onion flakes
garlic powder
salt
pepper
milk
Preheat oven to 350
Lightly coat baking 13x9dish with shortening to keep food from sticking
Place potatoes in baking dish, sprinkle with chopped onions, salt and pepper.
Cover potatoes with milk, just to top of potatoes (you don't want a POOL of
milk in the dish)
Place chops on top of potatoes, sprinkle with chopped onions, garlic powder,
salt and pepper
Cover with foil and bake until done (usually 40 minutes should do the trick)
Serve with your favorite vegetables!
RED BEANS, RICE AND SAUSAGE
1 pound pork sausage
½ cup rice
1 can red beans
1 tsp salsa
1 pinch garlic powder
Flour tortillas
Prepare rice according to package
Brown pork sausage
Heat beans, salsa and garlic powder
Heat tortillas in microwave for
20 seconds
Spoon rice, sausage and beans in center of tortilla, roll up and enjoy!
