EASY ROAST
Using a crock-pot or slow cooker keeps the heat out of the kitchen on a hot summer day or frees your oven up for other needs. It also makes cooking convenient when you need to leave the house and don't want to leave the oven on for safety reasons. A crock-pot or slow cooker is relatively a safe way to cook when you can't be there.

1 roast
1 pkg beefy onion soup mix
1 can beef consume
1 cup water

Place roast in crock-pot or slow-cooker.
Combine soups and water.
Pour over roast.
Cook on high at least 4 hours, depending on size, cooking until tender when forked.
Gravy can be made from leftover liquid. Heat leftover liquid in pan on stove until bubbly. In a mixing cup, mix ¼ cup flour in 8 tbsp hot water, stirring smooth. Turn fire to low and slowly pour in flour/water mixture, using whisk to stir quickly, keeping lumps from forming.

Serve with potatoes and carrots for a scrumptious meal everybody will love, without a lot of hassle.
